FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My baby is 6 months - which class should I book?
The age brackets for our classes are just rough guidance - the activities for both sessions are usually exactly the same, so the split is more about separating tiny newborns and more mobile babies for those that prefer to mix with other babies a similar age. The 0-6 class is perfectly suitable up to 7 months and is mainly for pre-crawlers, and the 7-13 is absolutely fine for little ones from 5m up. We also offer some mixed age group class available for if you have friends with babies at different stages.

What will I need to take part? All props and equipment are provided for the activities. We provide a beautiful soft fleece for baby to sit or lie in for the session, and we have baby change facilities within all our venues. All you need are the things you and your baby require for time out of the home.

Can my older children join in? Regrettably we are unable to accommodate siblings under 7 years of age due to insurance purposes. If you have older children aged 7 or over out of school for non-illness related purposes only then they can attend alongside you, provided they remain seated with you on your designated mats at ALL times during the session. If they are unable to remain seated with you then I will regrettably have to ask you to leave.

Can my partner/mum/dad come and watch? Absolutely! Provided there is enough space on the mats they can sit with you and join in the activities, or if we are full they can watch from the chairs or take turns with you on the mats.

Can I do a trial? Yes - we offer 3-week trials as it takes a couple of sessions for babies (and adults!) to settle into the routine of the classes. And since every week is different it gives you a good overview of what to expect from the session.

Can I attend ad hoc? We recommend booking by the term or half term in order to get the most out of the sessions, however we know there are many reasons why some may not be able to commit to this, so we offer drop-in spaces in our quieter classes, subject to availability. These can be booked via the main timetable.

I can't make one of my sessions - what can I do? Simply head to your Baby Sensory account and click 'notify absence', you'll then be given a catch-up credit to use against another session in a different venue any time within your booking. Click 'book catch up' and you'll see all the classes with availability.
