Carolyn & Claire

Hi I am Carolyn I run classes on a Monday and Wednesday I trained as a Nursery Nurse and enjoyed working in a variety of roles as a Child Minder, Nursery Nurse and Childrens Rep on a Ski resort before moving into call centre work where I was employed by a large communications company for fifteen years. In this time I also moved from my home in Scotland to South Yorkshire in 2007. I then had my daughter Holly in 2010, it wasn't a smooth entry into the world for Holly as she arrived ten weeks early and was in hospital for over three months before we could bring her home. Holly came home on oxygen so this meant I didn't really venture far. As Holly grew stronger and came off her oxygen, I decided it was time for a career change and I knew I didn't want to go back to call centre work. I truly missed the delight and satisfaction of working with young babies. So when a friend visited me from Scotland and mentioned how fantastic Baby Sensory was I then tracked down my nearest class. When Holly and I joined a room full of beautiful babies all experiencing music, signing, lights, and bubbles I was truly wowed. I knew these were the classes I wanted Holly to experience and I had also found my new career. I am delighted to bring Baby Sensory classes to Rotherham. I look forward to welcoming you and your precious ones to my classes and marvelling at the enjoyment and experiences you will all have. Hi there! I’m Claire, aka ‘Crazy Claire’ (previous franchise owner of Baby Sensory Barnsley) and now joining the amazing Carolyn Hunter as a class leader in the Rotherham franchise. I’m Mum to Flynn, aged 8 and Erin, 6. I attended Carolyn’s classes with Flynn and within just 2 months I was hooked! I loved everything about Baby Sensory and a chance conversation saw me agreeing to become Carolyn’s first franchisee! I gave up my career in retail management and ran the Barnsley franchise for 7 years. I loved every minute I was in class. Not only was it loads of fun but immensely rewarding. I cannot wait to get back to doing what I’m so very passionate about. I’m certainly looking forward to ‘Saying Hello to the Sun’ again! ☀️ I’m super excited to be working with Carolyn at Baby Sensory Rotherham. We can't wait to meet you all xx
