Jo Urquhart
Hi, I'm Jo! I own Baby Sensory Crawley region and as well as being responsible for all the admin and behind the scenes work I also currently run classes in Cuckfield on a Tuesday. I'm a trained teacher and spent 12 years delivering PE in a secondary school before having my three beautiful boys. I took all my boys along to Baby Sensory classes when they were just weeks old and it was here that I fell in love with the programme. I passionately believe in the value we can add to our babies learning and development and love being a part of some precious memories created through our classes. I have been running the Crawley region since April 2017 am am so happy to now have two amazing ladies, Katie & Beckie, working alongside me. I honestly believe I have the most exciting, rewarding job in the world - I am a very lucky lady!
Beckie Mayes
Hi I’m Beckie! I feel so lucky to be a Baby Sensory class leader for Jo after loving attending sessions with my daughter Piper in 2021 and 2022. I’m a qualified classroom teacher and have spent the last decade teaching reception and key stage 1 in a primary school before I qualified as a Baby Sensory class leader in March 2023. Prior to this I was a professional singer so you can usually find me in class singing live to all the catchy Baby Sensory tunes! Music and singing have so many developmental benefits for babies and young children, so I feel privileged to share my passion with so many wonderful babies and parents. I genuinely have the most rewarding and diverse job and couldn’t be more grateful. Can’t wait to meet you in class!
