Frequently Asked Questions

How much do the classes cost? The cost to attend our 6 week Spring term starting w/c 15th April is £57. Please note that classes will run as normal on Mon 6th May.

Which class should I choose? I offer age specific classes at all my venues, ensuring the content of each class is tailored to your baby’s needs and developmental stage, to give you the best possible class experience. Age groups are based on the age of your baby at the start of a term.  For example, for our 0-5 month classes, please don't worry if your baby will be over 5 months when the term ends. If your baby is the appropriate age to join more than one class time, please choose the best time of day for you, bearing in mind that older baby classes naturally include busier, more mobile babies. If you need help choosing the best class for you and your baby please get in touch and I'll be delighted to help.

When can I join? it's possible to join whenever there is a space available. If we are part way through a term, you will only pay for the remaining weeks of that term.

Do you offer a twins discount? Yes, I'm delighted to offer a special discount for twins. Please email me for details.

What if my baby hasn’t arrived yet? I have lots of parents-to-be who like to book before their little one arrives. When making your booking/joining a waitlist via the website, simply use ‘Bump’ (or similar!) in the name field and your due date as the DOB.  I can then update the register when your baby arrives.

Where do the classes run? I run my Baby Sensory classes at Fishbourne Church Hall, on the outskirts of Fishbourne village near Chichester and at St Nicholas Church in Bedhampton. Both venues offer free parking whilst you're attending class, and there's plenty of space for car seats and also buggies and prams, if you decide to walk.

Can visitors attend class with me and my baby? Yes, absolutely, adult visitors are always very welcome to attend, and parents/carers often invite Daddy or Grandma to attend for example. There will be chairs available for visitors to sit on at the back/side of the hall. Of course you are very welcome to swap at any point in the class, so that each of you get the opportunity to sit with your baby and take part in the activities. It’s often a lovely opportunity for the adult who is watching to take some lovely photos!

Baby Sensory is designed especially for babies and creates the opportunity for you to spend precious 1-1 time together. Regretfully due to insurance conditions, siblings are unable to attend our classes.

What happens if I need to miss a class? Don't worry - each class is a complete unit, so it doesn't matter if you need to miss a class. Although I'm not able to refund or defer missed classes, it may be possible for me to offer you a class swap for another session in the same week (I run classes Monday to Wednesday). If a class swap isn't available or isn't suitable for you (e.g. if you are on holiday all week), you are most welcome to gift your place to a friend with a similar aged baby. Please ask if you'd like to know more.

Do you offer classes for little ones over 12 months? Baby Sensory is very proud to be a part of of the WOW World Group and we offer two fabulous programmes, both perfect for Baby Sensory graduates! Discover fantastic learning adventures for your toddler/preschooler with our sister programmes Toddler Sense and Reading Fairy.
