Each class is new and exciting. You can book 5 or 10 consecutive classes at a time.

A block of 5 classes costs £50.

A block of 10 classes costs £90. A saving of £10 compared to booking x2 blocks of 5.

New customers can book a 3 week trial for £27.
Our classes offer so much variety that you need 3 weeks to really get a taste of what we do. It also gives your baby time to settle in and get used to the class environment so that they can engage fully in the activities.

We don’t run fixed terms so you can start your block at any time (subject to availability). Any holiday dates that fall within your block will be outlined in your Booking Confirmation email. Weeks when there are no classes will not be counted in your 5 or 10 weeks.

Click "Book Now" next to your preferred class to make a booking. If the class is fully booked for that week it will say "Wait List". Click "Wait List" to register your details. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any queries. You can call or text me on 07779 234 228 or email me on hemel@babysensory.co.uk. Thanks, Clare

Sensory Activities – Rest/Free play – Sensory Activities

This is to work with your baby’s natural play-rest-play cycle.

I missed/will miss a class; can I carry it over to the end of my booking?

Spaces in class are limited and when you book, a place on that day and time is reserved for you. It’s not possible for me to fill your space if you miss a class so regrettably, I am unable to carry over classes. If you know in advance, you are welcome to gift the class you will miss to a friend. I’ll need to know they are coming and their name and phone number and their baby’s name and dob/age. Alternatively, you may be able to attend a different class in the same week if there is a space.

What happens at the end of my booking?

The week before your last booked class, you’ll receive a reenrolment reminder email with a link to the website. You don’t actually have to wait for this as you can login anytime and reenrol for further classes. If you won’t be reenrolling please do let me know as soon as you can, so that I can offer the place to the wait list with plenty of notice.

I’m due to reenrol but my baby is soon turning 6 months old. Should I join the wait list for the next class up instead?

I aim for babies to move up from the 'Birth to 6 month' class to the '6 to 13 month' class when they are somewhere between 6 and 7 months and before they become mobile so there’s usually no rush. Spaces open up in the older classes when babies graduate and/or parents return to work. When I have a space, I look to see which babies are ready to move up and give them first refusal before offering to the wait list. I therefore recommend continuing to reenrol into your current class and when the right space opens up, I can transfer any booked classes across.

Is my baby too young to benefit from classes?/What if my baby sleeps?

Baby Sensory™ is specifically designed for babies from birth right through until they are ready for a toddler class (usually at around 13 months). Your baby is amazing and they are learning and developing at an incredible rate. By the end of their first year, your baby’s brain will have doubled in volume as a direct result of experiences from birth and they will have learnt more than they will at any other time in their life!

Baby Sensory™ classes provide a sensory rich environment full of opportunities for learning and development which will benefit your baby from birth. As your baby grows, they will become more interactive and expressive. The experience becomes more and more rewarding for you as your baby becomes more able to demonstrate how much fun they are having. You will be able to see what they have gained in those early weeks.

Newborn babies need to sleep a lot in order for their brains to process all the sensory input they receive. Some babies are naturally more sleepy than others to begin with. Some babies are very alert from birth. Even older babies will sometimes need to sleep during the class. This is totally normal and not a problem. Babies needs very much come first and you should always feel free to feed, change or settle your baby at any point. Take things at yours and baby’s own pace and follow their cues when they have had enough.

Believe it not, your amazing baby is still taking in about 60% of what is happening around them when they are asleep. Textures, touch, smells and sounds can still be introduced.

Even if your baby were to sleep for the whole class, you will gain lots of inspiration and ideas to try at home. We always explain how and why each activity is beneficial so you will learn lots too.

My baby hasn’t been born yet; can I still register on a wait list?

Yes! I would recommend registering your details on the waitlist and put a start date that you think will be right for you. Baby’s name and date of birth can be tbc/baby’s due date. I can then get in touch with you nearer the time to book you in.

How many weeks can I attend classes for/Is Baby Sensory a course?

Classes run weekly during term time and you can start as soon as you feel ready. Once you are booked into a class, you can keep your place by reenrolling for as long as you like without having to go on a waitlist. Every week is different so you could attend for the whole of your baby’s first year and not experience the same session twice. Every class is carefully planned and provides a wealth of sensory learning opportunities. There is always something new and exciting to experience with a huge variety of activities. Some classes are also themed or designed to celebrate key dates/occasions throughout the year e.g Mothers Day, Baby’s First Christmas, Baby Valentine, Beach Party…

I joined a wait list, what happens now?

Spaces open up regularly. As soon as we are able to offer you a space in the class you have registered for, we will be in touch to ask if you would like to book. This can sometimes be at short notice so please do keep an eye on your emails and add hemel@babysensory.co.uk to your contacts/safe list so the message doesn’t get filtered into your spam folder.

Can I join more than one wait list?

Yes, please register on the wait list for any classes that suit you. That way we can offer you whichever opens up first. If you don’t get your first choice straight away, you can opt to stay on the waitlist for that class while you start attending the one that’s available first.
