Terms and Conditions

Additional ‘Secure’ classes Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions may change as our circumstances evolve through the Covid-19 recovery period.  Baby Sensory TM are still writing their new terms and have existing terms to which Baby Sensory NW Kent and our customers are obliged to adhere to.

What if we go in to Lockdown during my ‘Secure’ booking?

Baby Sensory will run classes at our venues following government guidelines.  Should the government advice change or Baby Sensory NW Kent decide we need to protect our staff and customers, the term you have booked at Baby Sensory NW Kent may be delayed or put on hold.  By booking with us at this time, you agree that any class credits can be allocated to classes run via our online platform or via access to a pre-recorded session.  No refunds will be offered on any remaining sessions within the term.  Just a replacement service.

If you join us as part of our Baby Sensory 'Secure' classes, you will be required to purchase a 'starter bundle'.  This kit is yours to keep, it will be used as part of our 'Secure' terms only.  Only Baby Sensory items will be allowed in class to ensure safety and meet our insurance requirements.  We are unable to guarantee how long our 'Secure' terms will run for, it may be 1 term, it may be ongoing.  The kit is purchased on the understanding that is it not refundable at any point.  If there is a faulty item, an exchange will be offered. Please bear this in mind when considering investing in your Sensory Bundle. Note, some of these items will only be suitable for supervised play, some will be sensory aids which an adult will need to use in order for baby to enjoy.  If you can't attend your class in person, you will have the option to collect your 'starter bundle' or 'bundle top up' from the Cyclopark reception during their opening hours.   https://www.cyclopark.com/

Should lock down restrictions need to be re-imposed for any reason, we will continue our term online to enjoy @ home.  We will provide you with the option to collect your weekly top up kit in a safe location to enjoy your classes at home and give idea's for home-made play for any of you that can't collect.

Your Baby Sensory approved Bundle will be needed each week to join a class

If you forget to bring your 'bundle' or 'bundle top up' kit items to class, Baby Sensory will not be able to supply you with a replacement kit in class.  In this instance you will need to enjoy your class at home this week, or check with our admin team to see if they can offer you a space in a class later in the week.

This concept was devised at the request of our parents during the Covid 19 recovery.  Baby Sensory reserves the right to return to providing 'in class' equipment at any time should we deem it safe to do so.  Please bear this in mind when considering investing in your Sensory Bundle.  The equipment provided in your Sensory Bundle will be yours to keep forever, and so is a wonderful investment in your baby’s development wherever it is used.  Any further equipment provided in the Baby Sensory 'secure' classes will also be yours to keep. Please note, some of these items will only be suitable for supervised play, some will be sensory aids which an adult will need to use in order for baby to enjoy.

Mobile babies in ‘Secure’ classes

If your baby is mobile, we need to ask you to carefully consider our new set up and whether this will be a space you and your baby can enjoy.  For now, we will ask you to keep baby with you at all times, for your safety and the peace of mind of others.  If your baby wishes to crawl or walk during the class, our class leader will have to stop the activity and politely ask that you collect your baby.  Baby Sensory would normally embrace this element of your baby's development, and hope to be able to offer a safe space for in our older classes for your babies to explore again very soon.

One Parent Policy in ‘Secure’ classes

At present we can only facilitate 1 parent attending class with 1 baby.  If twin parents are attending 2 parents can attend, 1 with each baby. Babies count as 1 individual in addition to a parent and so it is important that we keep numbers in class ata safe level.

Illness policy in ‘Secure’ classes

If you have any symptoms of being unwell, from something as simple as a cold, we ask that you enjoy your Baby Sensory class from home. We plan to offer one live session per week, and then share the recording with everyone booked on to our current term of classes. You can then enjoy the sessions as many times as you like in 1 week. If you can' attend your class in person, you will have the option to collect your 'starter bundle' or 'bundle top up' from the Cyclopark reception during their opening hours.

You will be asked if you and your baby are in good health each time you arrive for a Baby Sensory class as part of our ongoing risk assesments.

Should you or your baby fall ill with Corona Virus or any other contagious disease, we ask that you notify us immediately.  Our H & S and Illness policy means we will contact the entire class to make them aware they may have been exposed to illness.  We are committed to supporting the track and trace scheme and will ask your permission to share your contact details with an NHS Contract Tracer.

Online classes during lockdown restrictions

If you are booked on to our online classes, you will have a week to view your recorded class.  For the protection of our class content, these links are deleted after 1 week.  We aren't able to offer make up classes for missed sessions for this reason.

Online/recorded classes from August 2020 will be available to enjoy for 2 weeks post your venue class.

Photographs on Social Media

During our classes we may take pictures for use on social media. We will always ask the group for your permission at the time of the photo being taken. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you would prefer that you or your baby are not photographed, and we will ensure these picture/s are not shared.
