Katy Brown

Hi, I’m Katy! I’ve been leading Baby Sensory classes for over 5 years and am a newly qualified Hello Baby practitioner too, which I am so, so thrilled about! My Son was born at 30 weeks and Baby Sensory was one of the first classes I tried, that we both enjoyed and I that I felt at ease at. It didn’t take me long to realise that I wanted to give other new parents that experience too! In a former life I was a Breakfast Radio Presenter but since having my 2 children I have discovered the world of perinatal health and all that it encompasses and it feels like this is my calling. Even more so since the pandemic. I love meeting your little ones each week and delivering our lesson plans, but what I enjoy most is supporting new parents in the early days of parenting and watching your beautiful relationships with your babies strengthen week by week. I am trained in trauma informed listening and am part of the Maternity Voice Partnership and Neonatal Parent Advisory Group for Frimley Park Hospital. I would love to welcome you and your baby to one of my classes soon x

Michelle Wakefield

Hello everyone, I’m Michelle! I am a Mummy to 3 little munchkins, aged 6, 4 and 2. Previously, I have worked as a swimming teacher and a teaching assistant in a local school and love working with children! I found Baby Sensory when I attended classes with my eldest. We were immediately hooked! I loved all the fantastic activities and that each week was fun and varied, alongside the developmental information that accompanied all the activities. It was great to know that we were having fun but also helping my daughter's development. I also loved how she did many firsts during class! I have now been working for Baby Sensory for nearly 2 years and put simply, I love it! It is an amazing job and I love that I get to meet so many wonderful parents and gorgeous babies, and that I get to share that precious first year with you both. I can’t wait to see all of your little ones grow and develop, and I hope that you love our classes as much as I did!
