Sarah

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am the owner of Baby Sensory Southport and Ormskirk. Before this, I was a swimming instructor in Ormskirk for 12+ years. Upon returning to work after maternity leave, I decided my priorities had changed and I needed something new. I have a beautiful soon to be 3 year old daughter who is a cheeky, loving and sociable bee. I attended Baby Sensory classes with her and feel they really spurred her on developmentally. It was great to get ideas of how to stimulate her at home as being a first time mum, I didn't have a clue. Together we formed lifelong friendships, to which I will forever be grateful for. I love that the sessions offer time and opportunity for parents to have discussions, in a friendly and safe environment. Having even just one person to talk to on a regular basis is invaluable and makes you feel like your never alone. It is an honour to be able to share your baby’s first year with you and you will be astonished to see how much they grow and develop in that time. I look forward to making lots of magical memories with you both.

Nicola

Hello and welcome to Baby Sensory Southport and Ormskirk. My name is Nicola and I help to run some of the Baby Sensory classes in our bespoke, beautiful, baby-safe venue in Burscough. I have three beautiful children, one girl and two boys. My eldest boy attended Baby Sensory from a very young age where he smiled for the first time, naturally we completely fell in love with the programme. I decided in that moment I had to become a class leader and just over a year later I was fully trained in Baby Sensory and jumped at the opportunity to run my own amazing Baby Sensory Franchise, to which I have just sold. I absolutely love what I do. Baby Sensory is a wonderful learning and development program for babies from birth - 13 months. You can attend classes for the whole year and never see the same session twice. I love seeing a parent with their baby enjoying each other's company, smiling and laughing with each other or simply just holding their baby close, that look of love is incredibly magical. These wonderful memories are created every single week during our Baby Sensory classes. Many parents make lifelong friendships, it’s lovely to see parents and their babies still meeting up years down the line. I know from personal experience and through many other parent’s comments, maternity leave can be lonely. However, attending Baby Sensory classes weekly, can reduce the chance of developing or help to recover from PND. Your health and happiness is just as important to me as your baby’s. I am looking forward to meeting your precious babies and yourselves very soon.

Lisa

Hello, I am Lisa and I am very excited to be joining the Baby Sensory Southport and Ormskirk team. For the past 5 years, I've owned the Wigan and St Helens Baby Sensory franchise. Due to personal reasons, I have recently sold this but I have always loved running classes. Originally, my goal in life was to enrol onto to a PGCE teacher training course but I got the amazing news that I was pregnant. Whilst in education I worked as a personal care worker to my severely autistic brother. This was challenging but a very rewarding job which required a lot of patience and a caring nature. I have fond memories of when my brother and I attended sensory rooms when we were younger. I will never forget the delight on his face from these incredible sessions and the pleasure and joy he got from being there. I attended Baby Sensory classes with my son Elijah and it was extraordinary to see how much he developed. I love that the classes give me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences. After all, knowledge is power. I look forward to meeting some of you very soon.
