Hello, I'm Tanya Beckford, the proud owner and Class Leader of Baby Sensory Fulham & Hammersmith.
I'm a mum of a wonderful family, and my journey with Baby Sensory began over ten years ago when I first attended classes with my own children. From the very beginning, I saw the incredible impact the classes had—not only on my babies' development but also on my confidence as a parent. Baby Sensory became so much more than a weekly class; it was a place where we created precious memories, built friendships and watched my children grow through fun, engaging and sensory-rich experiences.
Over the years, I've attended Baby Sensory with several of my children, so becoming a franchise owner feels like a natural next step. I genuinely believe in the programme because I've experienced its benefits first-hand, and it's a privilege to now be able to share those same experiences with families in my own community.
Before becoming a Baby Sensory franchisee, I built my career working in customer-focused and professional roles, where I developed strong organisational, communication and people skills. Throughout my career, I've always enjoyed supporting others and building positive relationships, which made this opportunity feel like the perfect fit.
My vision is to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every family feels valued from the moment they walk through the door. I want my classes to be a place where babies can learn, explore and thrive, while parents and carers build confidence, make friends and enjoy quality time with their little ones.
For me, Baby Sensory is more than just a business—it's the beginning of a family legacy. I'm passionate about building something that not only supports local families but also creates opportunities for my own children to become involved in the future, whether that's through work experience, becoming class leaders or even one day taking over the business themselves.
