Elaine

My name is Elaine & I am the owner & Class Leader of Baby Sensory Grantham - My background is in Health and Fitness, a career spanning 13 years. During this time, I enjoyed managing various Health Clubs with Virgin Active & Nuffield Health, however as my family got bigger it was time to readdress my work-life balance & look for a new challenge! I am a Mum to 3 young children – Emily, Eddie & Ellie & I attended Baby Sensory classes with all 3 of them! I loved it so much that when the opportunity came up to run the classes myself I just had to apply! I attended many baby classes with my children & enjoyed watching them explore & learn new skills. Of all the classes I attended Baby Sensory was by far my favourite. I loved how engaged, excited & fascinated the babies were throughout the sessions plus I really enjoyed the structure & the fact that every activity is backed by research. Even attending with my third baby Ellie, I shared brand new sensory experiences with her & picked up ideas to try at home that I’d not seen before. Baby Sensory came along at the perfect time for me and has allowed me to do a job that I love & am passionate about, which also fits around my family life with my own children. I can tell you first hand that the classes create truly magical moments with your little ones. Every week is a new & exciting adventure with different activities. Watching the growth & development of babies in their first year is so rewarding & I feel privileged that I now get to share these special experiences with other parents & babies.

Steph

My name is Steph & I am a Baby Sensory Class Leader. Before joining Elaine at Baby Sensory Grantham I worked as a senior nursery nurse in the baby unit, with 11 years experience. I love working with young children & seeing them grow & develop. I attend Baby Sensory with my son & look forward to dressing him up each week to match the amazing themes. It’s the best feeling when you turn up to the class & see your baby’s face light up or when they recognise the ‘Say Hello to the Sun’ song. When the opportunity came up to be a Class Leader, I jumped at the chance & when I got the position I felt like the luckiest person ever! I am really passionate about how we can have such a positive effect on our babies development & learning through play & I find it rewarding to see the wonder & amazement on their faces. I’m excited to meet the grown ups & babies & feel so lucky to be a part of their journey during their precious first year.
