Classes: Classes run in terms throughout the year but do not necessarily follow school term dates. You can join a class at any time if a place is available and just pay for the remainder of the term. Alternatively you can join the waiting list for a place in the following term. Once you have completed your booking you must attend consecutive weeks.
AGE GUIDANCE: -
Birth- 6 months’ classes: Age guidelines are for guidance only as every baby develops differently. Please don't worry if your baby will be over 7 months of age when the term ends. Babies will often be over 7 months before they 'graduate' to one of the older baby classes.
6+ months classes: Please don't worry if your baby will be older than 13 months by the end of the term, as long as you have registered them with us before they turn 13 months. Many are 15 months by the time they leave
Confirmation: Once you have completed the registration process you will receive a confirmation email. This indicates you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Payment: Baby Sensory can be paid by either debit/credit card via the booking screen.
Missed Sessions: Baby Sensory is unable to offer concessions for sickness or holidays but you are welcome to give your place to a friend if you know you will be away one week. Please contact us to inform us of a change in person attending including their name, baby's name, date of birth and a contact number. Regretfully you are unable to carry missed sessions over to the new term.
Other Siblings: Our classes are designed for babies from the age of birth to 13 months only. All older children are unfortunately unable to attend our classes due to health and safety reasons. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Medical Appointment: If you have a prior hospital or doctor's appointment and are unable to make your usual session we may be able to fit you into another class that week in an alternative venue. Please contact to discuss.
Twins and Multiples Discount: Please contact us for more information regarding the discount for twins and multiples.
Groups: If you are part of a group of 4 or more who would like to join together, please let us know prior to classes going LIVE and we will look at accommodating all of you.
Data Protection: The information you provide during registration contains personal data. Baby Sensory will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party.
Illness: Baby Sensory's policy states that babies should be kept at home if they are ill or have a serious infection. If a serious infection has occurred, please let us know so that we can inform other parents.
Please keep your baby at home if he/she:
• Has a fever or has had one in the previous 24 hours
• Has had an upset stomach or diarrhea in the previous 24 hours
Has symptoms of a possible communicable diseases such as:
• Measles
• Chicken pox
• German measles
• Whooping cough
• Impetigo
• Scarlett fever
• Hand, foot and mouth disease
• Norovirus
Cancellation of classes: Baby Sensory will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However should we need to cancel a class, parents will be contacted by email/text. Baby Sensory reserves the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, treacherous snow, serious illness etc). If your class leader is unable to run your class because of illness etc Baby Sensory will try and substitute an alternative class leader. If this isn't possible you will be notified of cancellation by text/email or phone call. Baby Sensory will endeavour to run a 'catch up' class at the end of the term to replace your session. If this isn't possible you will receive a full refund.
All places are non-refundable/ non-transferable: Baby Sensory is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. You are welcome to attend a different session if you are unable to make your own session but this is dependent upon availability in the class and must be discussed with me first. You are however, welcome to offer your place to a friend as a gift. If you want to offer your place to another, please notify me as soon as possible so that I can amend my registers. Thank you for your co-operation.
Important Booking Terms (COVID Specific)
We require / strongly recommend that adults wear a face mask to attend the session. Babies DO NOT require a face mask. It may not be necessary to wear the mask for the full duration of your session but we ask you keep them on if your baby is mobile and may need retrieving from other areas.
If you or your baby are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been in close contact with someone who has, please DO NOT attend classes. Please follow government guidelines regarding isolation.
In the circumstance of a local/national lockdown, your booked sessions will continue online for the duration of the lockdown. If this is not possible bookings will suspend and recommence after the lockdown; your class leader will communicate your options to you. Unfortunately we are unable to refund classes in these circumstances.
