Baby Sensory is the original and much-loved sensory development programme, created by child development expert Dr. Lin Day. Backed by years of research and trusted by thousands of families, our award-winning classes are specially designed to stimulate your baby’s senses, support early learning, and create unforgettable memories during that all-important first year.

Since launching in 2008, Baby Sensory has earned multiple national and international awards – including being named ‘Best Baby Class in the UK’ by the What’s On Awards – and continues to lead the way in early years development through fun, interactive and research-based activities that babies and parents love.

🌟 What to Expect in Our Classes

Each Baby Sensory session is carefully planned to support your baby’s development across a wide range of areas – including language, physical coordination, communication, touch, hearing, visual stimulation and many more!

✨ Weekly Themes & Sensory Adventures

No two classes are ever the same! Each week introduces a brand-new theme with fun and stimulating activities such as:

• Fibre optic light shows
• Bubbles
• Textures
• Musical instruments
• Sensory baskets to explore
• Puppet shows and storytelling
• Action songs and baby signing

🎶 Songs, Rhymes & Routines

We start every class with our special “Say Hello to the Sun” welcome song – a favourite with babies and parents alike. You'll enjoy a mix of original music and classic rhymes, designed to support early speech and language skills.

While each session has a different theme to keep things fresh and exciting, we always follow your baby’s natural play–rest–play cycle. This gentle structure means your baby can enjoy stimulation at their own pace, with time to rest and recharge in between activities.

We end each session with our gentle "Wave Goodbye" song – a soothing and familiar routine that helps bring the class to a close in a calm and gentle way for both you and your baby.

💛 Baby Development Tips

Throughout each session, we will explain the benefits of what we’re doing and offer ideas you can try at home – whether it’s tummy time techniques, baby massage, or ways to support your baby's growing curiosity.
