❓Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long is a Baby Sensory session?

Each class is 50 minutes long, structured into three parts:

  • 25 minutes of sensory activities
  • 10 minutes play break (with exploratory toys)
  • 15 minutes of sensory fun

This structure mirrors your baby's natural play-rest-play cycle.

2. How much do the classes cost? Can I pay ad hoc?

Classes are booked in termly blocks and are £12.5 per session, pro-rated depending on your start date. Trials and drop-in sessions are available subject to availability. You can book your spot via our Happity page: 👉 https://www.happity.co.uk/baby-sensory/richmond-and-wandsworth

3. Is my baby too young? What age can we start attending?

Not at all! Baby Sensory is suitable from birth to 13 months. All babies can benefit from early sensory stimulation and each activity has been researched and developed to be appropriate for newborns through to 13 months.

4. Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?

Just bring:

  • A pair of socks (for you)
  • A muslin cloth or blanket for your baby's comfort

5. What if I can’t make a session?

As per our terms and conditions, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for missed sessions. However, if there's availability in another class, a makeup session may be arranged - please speak with Alexandra.

6. Do you offer trials?

If availability allows, we do offer a trial bundle of 3 classes for £40, exclusively for new customers. It's a great way to experience the variety and structure of our sessions. Please get in touch to check current availability.

Even asleep, your baby absorbs up to 40% of their surroundings. The music, scents, and textures still offer developmental benefits—even during naps!

10. I have twins, can I still attend?

Absolutely! We offer a 50% discount for the second child. You're welcome to bring another adult to assist you. Please note that extra adults must pay for a full space due to limited class numbers. Class Leaders cannot act as the extra adult during sessions.
