Baby Sensory is a learning and development programme specifically created for babies from birth up to around 13 months. I have a baby as young as 5 days old come along to my classes so no baby is too young. You can start as soon as you are ready and there is a place, your baby will love the classes and you will both get lots out of the activities right from the start.
The programme was written by Dr Lin Day, who has over 35 years of child development experience. Classes are around 50 mins long with a mixture of structured sensory activities as well as free developmental play time with lots of lovely baby equipment to explore and time to chat.
Every week is different, usually with a theme, so you and your baby can have a whole year of exciting and new activities to look forward to each week. Each activity aims to enhance learning and development in some way, but of course as you can tell, there is a strong emphasis on having fun.
The classes incorporate light shows, puppets, bubbles, baby instruments, exercise, musical fun, baby signing, massage, parachutes with lots of developmental information included along the way.
If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development this is the class for you!
