Our founder Dr Lin Day (PhD, M. Phil, PGCE, FETC, BSc, Dip.Ed, SRN) developed this programme to help support and guide you in your child’s development through the first year of life.
In turn, and since Baby Sensory began, Dr Day has produced many articles which answer a wealth of questions for parents which are readily available to all.
Our Baby Sensory classes are specifically designed for parents with babies from birth to 13 months and all Baby Sensory practitioners are highly trained to lead activities which help with bonding and support the early development of the babies and parents in the Early Years sector. We also answer many questions from parents who are struggling to come to terms with their new responsibilities and help new parents to understand that they are not alone with the challenges they are facing.
Our classes are support groups and are vital for new parents to meet others where they can share experiences with each other, help ease postnatal depression and improve mental health.
Classes are running in and around the Ipswich area accessible for families living in Ipswich and surrounding areas.
I offer two class options, sensory only which is 45 minutes and does not include the exploratory play area and 60 minute lessons that include the exploratory play.
Why choose baby sensory?
1. Stimulation: Baby sensory classes provide a variety of stimulating activities for babies, such as music, movement, and visual stimulation. This can help to develop your baby's senses and cognitive abilities.
2. Bonding: Attending baby sensory classes can be a great way to bond with your baby and spend quality time together. The classes often involve activities that encourage interaction between parent and child.
3. Socialization: Baby sensory classes provide an opportunity for your baby to interact with other babies and parents in a safe and supportive environment. This can help to develop your baby's social skills and confidence.
4. Development: The activities in baby sensory classes are designed to support your baby's physical, cognitive, and emotional development. This can help your baby to reach important milestones and develop key skills.
5. Fun: Baby sensory classes are often filled with fun and engaging activities that can bring joy to both you and your baby. It can be a great way to break up the routine of daily life and enjoy some special time together.
Overall, booking baby sensory classes can provide numerous benefits for both you and your baby, including stimulation, bonding, socialisation, development, and fun.
