NEW IN 2010 - TODDLER SENSE
Following the great success of Baby Sensory’s baby development programme, we are now introducing the new Toddler Sense programme for children from 13 months to 3 years. The new Adventure Play programme will be available in many areas during 2010. To find out more please contact your local Class Leader.
The Baby Sensory Experience
Baby Sensory provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. The classes include fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows, amazing light balls and so much more. Once you have experienced our parent and baby activities you will want to come back next week for more captivating experiences. The Baby Sensory programme consists of over 40 themed lesson plans, so every week you will share new sensory experiences with your baby. You can see pictures of a sample of the activities on our What We Do page or better still come along to one of our sessions and experience the classes for yourself. Many of the baby development activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music, which is available on CD from your Class Leader.
Each class includes a variety of different baby development activities plus a discovery playtime, during which your baby can enjoy our exploratory play area whilst you have the opportunity to meet other parents.
The Toddler Sense Adventure Play Programme
Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure.
The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.
The age range is from 13 months to three years and is split into two groups; 13 - 18 months and 18 months to 3 years.
The Baby Sensory Story
Baby Sensory was formed at the end of 2006 and within three years we had opened Baby Development Classes in over 100 locations throughout the UK and Ireland. During this time we were named ‘Best Baby Development Class’ and also featured as finalists in the HSBC Start-Up Stars for new businesses.
In addition to our success in the UK, Baby Sensory has created a network of Partners who will support our growth in Canada, Italy, Mexico,
Australia,
New Zealand, USA.
Spain,
Scandinavia,
Benelux and China. Our international agreements are structured to enable our Partners to grow the Baby Sensory business within their appointed territory, with support from the UK team and to reap the benefits of growth from within their territory.

Our Founder - Baby Development Expert - Dr. Lin Day
Baby Sensory founder, Dr. Lin Day (PhD Dip. Ed. BSc. PGCE. M. Phil) has worked with babies and young children throughout her career. Prior to creating Baby Sensory, Lin created a musical adventure play concept. The primary aim of this programme was to encourage toddlers and children to become more active through practical and exciting play. Lin recognised that babies attending classes with their older brothers and sisters were spellbound by what was happening around them and thus founded Baby Sensory classes for babies.
Lin is a feature writer in the topic of Baby Development for the Early Years Educator (EYE) magazine and provides motivational workshops on baby development at Baby Shows and Early Years events throughout the UK. Best Baby Development Class 2008
Baby Sensory is proud to announce that its classes are winners of the "Best Baby Development Class" for 2008 in the prestigious whatson4littleones awards sponsored by Organix. As well as being voted winners in this important category Baby Sensory was commended in two other categories "Best New Activity" and "Best Innovation".
